    Apologies for the late reply, 1000mg a day is too low. the studies mentioned in the above post both used between 2000mg to 5000mg daily to achieve the maximum anti-aging effects of collagen supplementation. Higher doses of up to 5000mg daily were correlated with the higher improvements in skin elasticity and wrinkle elimination and 5000mg is well tolerated by most people. let me know how it goes?
